Journey Teams
It's nearly impossible to develop deep and lasting friendships in an hour on Sunday among hundreds. Journey Teams, our small group ministries, give the opportunity to go deeper, to care for each other, to help our community and to learn together.
These journey teams provide the building blocks and are elemental to the mission and vision of Crosspointe. To symbolize this, we have named each of our journey teams after an element on the periodic table. Different journey teams have different formats, but they generally include Bible study, sharing a meal and various social or community projects. There are many opportunities to connect in a journey team. You will likely choose one based on interests, meeting times, location, and whether or not you need child care. For more information, contact us.

What's a learning module?
A Learning Module is a short term learning event focusing on a specific subject. Modules are designed to be highly interactive yet not demanding in terms of personal disclosure or time commitment. Examples of Learning Modules would include an eight week study on the Book of Mark, a ten week study on faith and culture, or a seven week study of art and faith.

Portal Events
Portal Events, as the name implies, are events designed to be entry points into our faith community. They generally focus on an area of common interest among participants. Scheduled events include cooking classes, scrapbooking clubs, ballroom dancing lessons, life-mapping events and a host of others.
Kidspointe Children’s Ministry
Kidspointe Children’s Ministry is a little wacky, often zany and sometimes unconventional, but is a place where kids learn! We follow a high-energy, hilariously entertaining video curriculum that takes kids from information to transformation with three steps - Learn it, Link it, and Live it! Kidspointe is offered each Sunday morning during the Learning Time and through the Gathering.
Each caregiver in our children's ministry has been thoroughly background tested and receives ongoing safety training. Professional, trained caregivers are employed in our Nursery and Toddler departments. Crosspointe follows the Texas State Guidelines for child/adult classroom ratios.

RealLife
The Student Ministry arm of Crosspointe is called RealLife. Students from 6th-12th grade are given the opportunity to participate in various activities to help them grow in their faith. As part of our Strategic Missional Partnership, we encourage our youth to become involved with YoungLife and WyldLife for various events.
We also have some fun and exciting activities of our own throughout the year. We will often come together to engage in lively discussions on the Bible, current events, and topical studies and how they relate to our daily lives.

Crosspointe Partnership
Crosspointe has no members preferring instead to invite people who feel committed to the mission and vision to become partners in the work of the ministry.
All Partners have publicly confessed their faith in Jesus Christ and their desire to be true Christ-followers. They have willingly submitted to the spiritual authority of the Elders and have committed to be actively involved in the following four key areas of church life:
Worship - We believe that regular attendance and participation in corporate worship is a way for Partners to demonstrate their love of God and their commitment to the mission and vision of Crosspointe.
Serve - We believe that every Christ-follower has been given a spiritual gift to be used to edify the Body of Christ. Partners volunteering in church ministries or otherwise serving the community of faith are vital to a healthy, growing church. It is another demonstration of a Partner’s commitment to living out the mission of the church.
Journey - We believe that healthy, accountable relationships are the means for spiritual transformation in the life of Christ-followers. Therefore, we expect each of our Partners to be actively involved in a small group community we call Journey Teams. These Journey Teams are designed to facilitate worship as a lifestyle, accountability and discipleship.
Bring - We believe that when it comes to finances, we are but stewards of the blessings that God bestows upon us. We expect that our Partners recognize this truth and respond in obedience to God when He asks us to bring back a portion of that with which He has blessed us in order to support the work of the church. We bring rather then give in recognition that giving implies we own something while bringing symbolizes our understanding that we are simply stewards.
