The Mission
To move everyone toward loving God, loving others and living out loud.

The Vision
Through imaginative design create relational learning environments and strategic missional partnerships to lead everyone to their full potential in Christ.

Our Commitment

  • To be a dynamic, passionate church valued for our presence in the community through genuine compassion and selfless service.

  • To be more than a group of Christ-followers who simply attend a Worship Gathering

  • To engage our community on their turf and terms seeking the right to speak into their lives

  • To be vitally connected to our community in order to form deep and lasting friendships

  • To be a place where intentional discipleship is a top priority

  • To empower our faith community to exercise their gifting

  • To value the arts and media as relevant and effective means of communicating the Gospel

Our Values

  • Scripture: We believe that the Gospel as revealed in God’s Word is His power for transforming lives – The Bible as God’s Word is completely reliable, true, inerrant, and authoritative. It is only in hearing the Truth of God’s Word within the context of real relationship that one is formed more and more into the likeness of Christ through the working of the Holy Spirit. Genuine spiritual growth cannot occur without teaching and knowing the Scriptures.
  • Relationships: We believe people are called to and made for loving relationships – People need close relationships where they can love and be loved, know and be known. In fact, it is in relating with others and participating in community that profound life-change takes place within the individual. Therefore we place a high priority on our small group ministry—known as Journey Teams—through which community is optimally fostered.
  • Authenticity: We believe that the church must desire and demonstrate authenticity – Church was never intended to be a place where it is threatening to be your true self. If there is any place in the world where you can be transparent without feeling threatened, it needs to be the church. Jesus demonstrated the value of transparency in his dealings with His own disciples. At the same time, we believe this authenticity should also be characterized by sincerity of heart and humility. When Christians are in genuine community, instead of pretense and hypocrisy there is grace and truth. Masks come off, conversations go beyond the surface, hearts are vulnerable, accountability is invited, and people become a community in the truest sense of the word.
  • Relevance: We believe God is best seen when ministry is culturally relevant. We believe we are responsible to understand our times, the values, attitudes and needs of the community in which we live and minister. We champion relevance in our communication of a changeless Gospel.
  • Creative Excellence:  We believe that creative excellence and quality must characterize everything we do. We believe that “good enough” is not good enough when it comes to honoring God through our ministry. In response to His holiness and greatness, and in gratitude for His grace and mercy, our aim is to offer to the Lord our very best in everything that we are called to do. This is not obsessive perfectionism but an attitude of excellence that permeates all that we do in the church, since what we do as Christians reflects upon the God we serve.
  • Worship: We believe that the Church exists to worship God. We are called to honor and glorify God, seeing Him as the center of our lives, our church, and in all reality. We believe that the only object worthy of our praise is our Creator. We also believe that it is through this worship that we can know the profound and true joy that we were created to experience. Finally, worship is not simply a Sunday activity, but a life that we live in constant awareness of and in response to God’s mercy, greatness, and love (Romans 12:1).
  • The Journey: We believe that salvation is both a process and a decision and are committed to providing a safe place for people to discover what they believe about God and what God believes about them. Christ's Great Commission provides us with a clear directive—to be and make disciples. We are focused on providing opportunities for continuous growth for people in all stages of their spiritual journey in order that they may be guided toward spiritual maturity.

Our Gatherings

The gathering is an opportunity for corporate worship, connection, interaction and learning. We invite you to slow down and pause on Sunday mornings. To spend an hour with people who don't care what type of clothes you wear or the impressive nature of your last corporate presentation. Our worship team covers many of today’s popular modern worship music with strong lead vocals and guitar with subtle keyboard accents. We embrace the ancient songs of faith but express them in a modern way. Whether you've never been to church, been a part of church your whole life, or simply fell out of the habit, you are welcome here

Frequently Asked Questions

We meet each Sunday at 10:15 a.m. at Killian Middle School.

What do people wear? Attend Crosspointe and you’ll see more kinds of blue jeans than a trip to the mall! Our dress is casual and comfortable.

As a guest, will I be singled out? The answer is no. At Crosspointe you will be greeted at the door with a warm smile and an offer to help find your way around our space. We promise that you can check us out on your terms.

Do I have to have certain beliefs before I can attend Crosspointe? Absolutely not. Many people who attend Crosspointe are still learning what it means to follow Christ. We recognize that a relationship with Christ is a journey and we want to help facilitate your journey.

Our Messages

Our messages are centered upon the biblical narrative contextualized for the world in which we live. They are highly interactive, narrative and metaphor driven and seek to address the tensions of living the life of a Christ-follower in a post-Christian culture. Gathering messages are posted here weekly for the duration of the current message series

Current Series: Soul Journey - spirituality for the rest of us

Spirituality. It’s a popular topic these days. We all seem to want it. Oprah is talking about it.  And best-selling authors Eckhart Tolle, Rhonda Byrne and William Young are writing about it. Our Beliefs

We believe all Scripture is self-attesting and being Truth, requires our unreserved submission in all areas of life. The infallible Word of God, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is a complete and unified witness to God's redemptive acts culminating in the incarnation of the Living Word, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible, uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, is the supreme and final authority on all matters on which it speaks

The following essentials summarize our belief system:

ESSENTIAL #1:  We believe in one God, the sovereign Creator and Sustainer of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. To Him be all honor, glory and praise forever!

ESSENTIAL #2:  Jesus Christ, the living Word, became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. He who is true God became true man united in one Person forever. He died on the cross a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. On the third day He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and Mediator.

ESSENTIAL #3:  The Holy Spirit has come to glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to our hearts. He convicts us of sin and draws us to the Savior. Indwelling our hearts, He gives new life to us, empowers and imparts gifts to us for service. He instructs and guides us into all truth, and seals us for the day of redemption.

ESSENTIAL #4:  Being estranged from God and condemned by our sinfulness, our salvation is wholly dependent upon the work of God's free grace. God credits His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ alone for their salvation, and thereby justifies them in His sight. Only such as are born of the Holy Spirit and receive Jesus Christ become children of God and heirs of eternal life.

ESSENTIAL #5:  The true Church is composed of all persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, are united together in the body of Christ. The Church finds her visible, yet imperfect, expression in local congregations where the Word of God is preached in its purity and the sacraments are administered in their integrity; where scriptural discipline is practiced, and where loving fellowship is maintained. For her perfecting, she awaits the return of her Lord.

ESSENTIAL #6:  Jesus Christ will come again to the earth -- personally, visibly, and bodily -- to judge the living and the dead, and to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.

ESSENTIAL #7:
The Lord Jesus Christ commands all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to make disciples of all nations. Obedience to the Great Commission requires total commitment to "Him who loved us and gave Himself for us." He calls us to a life of self-denying love and service.
